O pasado venres 8 de abril os alumnos do instituto asistiron no Auditorio Municipal de Cedeira á representación dobra de teatro en inglés "One way ticket", organizada polo Departamento de Inglés.
A obra representouse en dúas sesións. Á primeira, ás 9:30, asistiron os alumnos de 4º da ESO, 1º e 2º de BAC, 2º de FP Básica, CM de Comercio e CS de Administración e Finanzas. Na segunda, ás 11:30, participaron os alumnos de 1º, 2º e 3º da ESO e 1º de FP Básica.
En cada unha das sesións da obra contouse coa activa participación de varios dos alumnos asistentes.

Dende o día 12 ata o 16 de maio, os alumnos de 3º da ESO realizaron unha visita a Londres, onde coñeceron os lugares e monumentos máis emblemáticos. Amosámosvos algunhas imaxes da súa estancia alí:

O pasado día 27 de marzo tivo lugar no Auditorio de Cedeira a representación da obra de teatro en inglés "Food for Thought", coa participación da maior parte do alumnado do centro. Amosámosvos a continuación algunhas fotografías tomadas durante a mesma:

RULES Contest participants are all the students that went on the London School Trip 2014 organized by IES Punta Candieira. All photos must be in a JPG format and must include a brief photo description and the photographer´s name. Only one photo per person will be submitted. Email your photo to leleingles@gmail.com Closing date for entry will be May 19th. Two winners will be chosen as a result of popular vote. Entitled to vote are all teachers, non-teaching staff and all ESO 3 students. Prizes:
II CONCURSO DE FOTOGRAFÍA SOBRE LONDRES 2014 BASES Poderán participar os alumnos e as alumnas que fixeron a viaxe a Londres organizada polo IES Punta Candieira. Tódalas fotos deberán presentarse en formato JPG e deberán incluir unha breve descripción e o nome do autor ou da autora. Únicamente se presentará unha foto por persoa. Envía a túa foto por email a leleingles@gmail.com O prazo de presentación remata o 19 de maio. Haberá 2 gañadores que serán elexidos por votación popular. Terán dereito a voto tódolos profesores e profesoras, o persoal non docente e todo o alumnado de 3º da ESO. Premios:

O pasado 11 de abril varios grupos da ESO foron ver ó Auditorio de Cedeira a obra de teatro "All the world's a stage".
All the World´s a Stage All the world´s a stage, and all the men and women merely players: They have their exits and their entrances; and one man in his time plays many parts. – William Shakespeare In a theatre hall somewhere in Britain the audience and the press are queuing to see the latest production of the oldest and most famous theatre company in Britain; The Royal Shaky Pier Theatre Company. Once seated they are witnesses to a short piece which is not exactly what one would expect from this prestigious company. While the members of the audience express their confusion, disagreement and anger at the deception, a journalist reports the whole event and broadcasts the scene live. When the workers and technicians of the company enter the stage they find themselves in front of a demanding audience and a journalist who is searching for an explanation for what has happened and refunds and compensation for the audience. Finding themselves in the situation and with no way of talking to management, the technicians will try and resolve their crisis through a parallel story which will involve everyone in the world of theatre, work and the search to fulfil personal dreams. Comical, musical, easy to follow and with situations of current significance treated with great humour, “All the World´s a Stage“ is a show that reminds us that the world is indeed a stage and all of us merely players. |
